Each morning I take a walk with my camera, photographing my brooklyn neighborhood (11249). After a few weeks, I started to feel like I would be repeating myself. Of course there are some subjects I’ll shoot every day (ConEd smokestacks for some reason), but the neighborhood is constantly changing, evolving, and my eye drawn to new things each day.
Hey, thanks. I've always thought that one thing photographers should always do is to document where they live. If we have the skills to do it, we should do it. And I think it's okay to repeat ourselves too. Things change all the time depending on the light, the lens, and even how we feel.
oh, and check out our latest show where I talk to a friend who is doing this to an extreme. I'll be publishing it before Friday.
